  • 17 more TBEN died from Covid-19, bringing the total death toll to 1,366.

    According to a statement signed by Health CS Mutahi Kagwe, Kenya had recorded 1,112 additional cases.

    The total number of cases stood at 76,404 as of November 21.

    According to the cases, 1,169 are TBEN and 42 are foreigners.

    The youngest is a one-year-old infant while the oldest is 95 years old. 722 are men and 489 are women.

    The ministry also announced that 368 patients recovered from the disease, 265 from the home care program, while 103 were discharged from various hospitals. Total recoveries now stand at 51,352.

    A total of 1,134 patients are admitted to various health facilities across the country, while 6,805 are in isolation and in home care.

    67 patients are in the ICU, 36 of whom are on ventilatory assistance and 31 on supplemental oxygen.

    77 others are separately on supplemental oxygen, including 73 in general services and 4 in the HDU.
