It’s time to crown the penultimate winner of the PGA Tour regular season.
This week’s venue is in Detroit, Michigan, for the 2022 Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club. The course has a par-72 layout of 7,370 meters.
Tony Finau continued his strong game. The winner of last week’s 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota, is looking for another win, and he played brilliantly in the third round, shooting a 7-under 65. He sits at 21 under and tied with Taylor Pendrith, who is on at least part of the lead after each round. Pendrith shot 6-under 66 in the third round. Cameron Young, who tied a course record with a 9-under 63 on Friday, shot a 7-under 65 on Saturday and is third solo.
