Kieron Pollard, skipper of the West Indies white ball, believes that a player does not have to lead a team to be a leader, and he must do what is in the best interests of the team when he is captain of the ‘team. Pollard, who led the Mumbai Indians in the absence of regular skipper Rohit Sharma in the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), will lead the Deccan Gladiators in the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 League. “We were looking forward to the start of this series because it was very exciting in the draft sessions. The harbor master’s office is part of the job. You don’t have to be the leader to be a leader,” Pollard said. in a statement.

The bowling department is well taken care of by iconic player, spinner Sunil Narine, the always reliable Imran Tahir and Sri Lankan sensation Wanindu Hasaranga, who won the Man of The Tournament title in the Lanka Premier League.
