Comedian Celeste Barber reveals desperate celebrities are reaching out to her begging to be parodied in hopes of catching some of her 7.7 million Instagram followers for themselves

Celeste Barber has become a global superstar thanks to her hilarious celebrity parody videos and photos.

The 38-year-old comedian drew 7.7 million Instagram followers – and that made her more famous than some of the people she laughed at.

Appearing on The Project Tuesday night, Celeste revealed that desperate influencers and celebrities often contacted her, begging to be parodied.

‘Yeah. Heaps, ” she replied when asked if she had been approached to feature certain people on her Instagram.

“I also get people to say, ‘Have you seen such and such seen? You have to parody her. She needs the followers.’ It’s full, ‘Celeste admitted.

However, the Australian media personality has also befriended some big names.

“I’m friends with some of them, which is good. “Anyway, I was talking to Cindy Crawford and she said…” she joked.

Celeste added: “ I have a point to prove, especially to people who were mean to me in school – I’m friends with Drew Barrymore! It’s always a bad vendetta behind it. But it’s fun and nice and chic.

Recently, on Jameela Jamil’s iWeigh podcast, Celeste said that some really big names like her posts and sometimes submit them to be parodied.

“If Cindy Crawford and Gwyneth Paltrow are ok with that, you can all agree with that!” she said.

Celeste, however, also admits that some celebrities have blocked her because they find her Instagram parodies “ mean ”.

“When people are like ‘do you feel mean or anything?’ I’m like ‘no.’ I only use the photos that they post, if it’s a paparazzi photo I won’t use it unless they have, ” she added.
