“Daddy Magic” Matt Menard joins several other AEW stars on the sidelines due to injury.
On June 29 of Dynamite, the Blood & Guts match took place between the Blackpool Combat Club and Jericho Appreciate Society. The finish of the match saw Menard tapping to Claudi Castagnoli on top of the cage
The AEW star revealed in a video posted by JOFO In The Ring that he tore parts of his shoulder, labrum and rotator cuff during the match. He has shared some good news as he will not require surgery and will rehabilitate his injuries. It is unclear when he will return to the ring, but he has remained on AEW TV despite the injuries.
As previously reported, Santana suffered a knee injury during the fight and is expected to be out for the rest of the year.
