BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 were forecasting a positive open on Friday, as the trends on SGX Nifty indicate. Crafty futures surged in trading, rising 23 points to 17,852 on the Singapore Stock Exchange. In today’s trading, Sensex BSE is likely to hit the crucial 60,000 level. “Nifty formed a strong bullish breakout candle and consistently maintained higher lower series formation, which supports a new uptrend from current levels. For day traders, 17800-17750-17720 would be key support levels. On the other hand, 17900-17950-17990 could be a major resistance level in the short term Contra traders can take a long bet between 17750 and 17720 with a strict support stop loss of 16910, ”said Shrikant Chouhan, head of equity research (retail), Kotak Securities.
