Jury showed video of Alex Jones mocking Sandy Hook parents
Alex Jones yelled that he was “finished with apologizing” for his Sandy Hook hoax claims as victims’ families watched in court.
Jones lost his temper with attorney Chris Mattei after being told he had placed a “target on Robbie Parker’s back”.
“Is this a battle session, are we in China? I’ve said I’m sorry hundreds of times and I’m done saying I’m sorry. I didn’t generate this, I wasn’t the first to say it,” Jones told the court.
Jones testifies in his second trial for defamation against the families of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, which he labeled a fraud.
The Infowars conspiracy theorist’s testimony follows his repeated outbursts this week outside the courthouse, where he called President Barbara Bellis “a tyrant,” ranted about the media portraying developments in his company’s bankruptcy proceedings and insisted he wasn’t lying. about the 2012 massacre “deliberately”.
Relatives of two Sandy Hook victims came forward on Wednesday and told how they have been the target of despicable threats for years as a result of Jones’ blatant claims about the shooting.
The jury was shown multiple videos of Jones making those claims on broadcasts to millions, including mocking victims’ parents as “crisis actors” and showing completely false information about the day’s events.
Jurors also heard how Jones’ audience and earnings grew exponentially after the tragedy.
The jury will decide how much to pay the families of eight victims and the FBI agent who responded to the shooting.
ICYMI: There was an awkward moment in the courtroom as all sides tried to figure out how to get Jones to answer questions in a way that wouldn’t take him into areas where the court wouldn’t allow him to speak.

ICYMI: There is a back-and-forth regarding the presence of child exploitation material in discovery documents.
Here is an explanation of Shame‘s Anna Merlan and how this turned out in court.
The FBI found that there was no evidence that the material had anything to do with anyone at Infowars.
Prosecutors’ attorneys seem to liken the outrage Jones felt when he was falsely accused of distributing child exploitation material to how the Sandy Hook families felt about the false things he said about them.
