Insurance broker Aon plc announced that Karen O’Donnell has been appointed Director of Clients within her Private Finance Initiative (PFI) and Infrastructure team, a specialist practice that sits within the Aon Construction division within the Global Broking Center.
O’Donnell will report to Paul Tubb, PFI Executive Director and Team Leader and will be based in Edinburgh. She takes the role with immediate effect.
O’Donnell brings more than 30 years of insurance experience to the team, having held positions as an underwriter and broker. She’s from Marsh Ltd. where she recently held the position of project risk consultant for the PPP / PFI market. Previously, she held management positions at Willis UK Ltd. and Bruce Stevenson Ltd. She started her career as an underwriting assistant for Royal Insurance UK Ltd. and Eagle Star Insurance Co Ltd.
