Former Manchester United and Liverpool star Michael Owen has predicted tonight’s Premier League clash between Arsenal and Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium.
Owen predicted that Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette would continue his impressive form by pulling the Gunners to a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace on Thursday night.
Arsenal are heading into the game after a 4-0 win over West Brom in their previous Premier League game last Saturday, while Crystal Palace beat Sheffield United 2-0.
“Arsenal seem to be gaining confidence,” Owen wrote in his BetVictor column, where he predicted a 2-1 win for Arsenal with Alexandre Lacazette as one of the Gunners’ scorers.
“They clinched their fourth consecutive victory this weekend with an FA Cup overtime victory over Newcastle. The mood certainly looks better in the Emirates, and I would expect them to continue to improve.
“The palaces are still too incoherent for me. They have won only once in their last seven games, and it happened against struggling Sheffield United.
“With the positive vibes back in the Emirates, I think the home side will continue on their upward curve and take the points.”
Kick-off time for Arsenal vs Crystal Palace is 9:00 p.m.
