At least 1 person hospitalized after Springfield shooting

Springfield Police said a person was taken to hospital after being shot in Springfield early Saturday morning.

Crews responded to reports of a shooting around 12:35 a.m. on the 400 block of W. Pleasant Street, coordinators tell News Center 7.

At least one person has been taken to Springfield Regional Hospital for injuries.

Their condition is unknown and the shooting is still under investigation, coordinators say.
