Some news is expected to come out in the coming days about the investigation into the fight that broke out between CM Punk’s camp and The Elite after AEW All Out and there has been a lot of talk about who was right and who was wrong in the situation.
There are some Punk fans who have defended his actions to the media scrum, but according to Wade Keller, there are more people he spoke to who have defended The Young Bucks over CM Punk.
On a recent PWTorch.com audio show, Wade Keller said that behind the scenes Matt and Nick Jackson are generally seen as good guys and that the people he spoke to felt like they didn’t deserve to be called out on the way CM Punk did. during the media scrum.
“The Bucks are not seen as abrasive personalities,” Keller said. “Passive-aggressive, yes, there are aspects to that… They are not seen as a hole. People who don’t like Punk have more negative things to say than people who don’t like the Bucks. .”

Keller continued: “The Bucks can rub people the wrong way or not be their kind of people or whatever, but they’re not jerks and that’s kind of part of the dynamic here. I think some people here were watching Punk and said, ‘You may not like that they don’t follow your advice [or] you might be thinking, oh, that comment shouldn’t have been made’…it’s hard for people to imagine Matt and Nick deserved such a public call in a context that should have been about the celebrating a world title and a really good pay-per-view.”
The Bucks, Kenny Omega, Ace Steel and Punk remain suspended until the investigation is completed.
