Former ROH/TNA star Becky Bayless took to Twitter to defend CM Punk from some of the negativity directed against him over the past week following the backstage fight that took place at All Out.
Bayless tweeted, “The CM Punk I know rescues puppies and champions women’s rights. But that doesn’t sell newsletter subscriptions or get website hits, right guys? Do better.” Bayless is not alone here. There are many people in the wrestling world who have good things to say about Punk.
FTR recently said the following during an interview with DAZN last month:
Cash Wheeler said: “I know there will be old tensions. But as far as how he is as a person now, he couldn’t be more inviting. He couldn’t be more business oriented about what he thinks and everything it’s opposite. ; I really think it’s uneducated to go off of it because there was only one side (and) that was all the negative.”

He continued: “In time you will see that he meant well, that he did some good things, and as I said, anything the opposite is, in my opinion, is just people being childish and behaving as middle school students.”
Dax Harwood said: “Sometimes passion is mistaken for an asshole because you just want the best. He wants the best for AEW. He also wants the best for himself. We all do that. But he wants the best for AEW and proposes AEW above itself.”
