As previously noted on WWE Raw, Becky Lynch suffered a shoulder fracture during her match with Bianca Belair at SummerSlam.
WWE wrote Lynch off storylines by having her attacked by Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai. WWE later announced on Twitter that Lynch will be out for several months.
The company mixed up the real-life injury with the backstage assault to explain why she’ll be off TV for a while, seemingly setting up Lynch to get revenge when she returns to TV.

“Following a severed shoulder on #SummerSlam, @BeckyLynchWWE’s injury was further aggravated following a bout from @itsBayleyWWE, @ImKingKota and IYO SKY earlier tonight on #WWERaw. As a result, @BeckyLynchWWE is expected to be out for several months.”
