Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav was tagged in a tweet by the head of the Delhi Women’s Commission (DCW), Swati Maliwal, which included a demand for action against the police. The elderly teacher’s bike that fell for these officers was his fault, the post claimed.

Swati tweeted: “How these police officers mercilessly beat an old man with a stick. It is said that Baba is a teacher at the school and that it was his fault that his bike fell in front of these madams. @YadavTejashwi, take action”
