The National Center for Seismology of India reports that an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale hit the West Siang area of ​​Arunachal Pradesh early Thursday morning.

The earthquake was 10 kilometers deep, according to the National Center for Seismology.

“Today around 10:31 am, a magnitude 5.7 earthquake struck West Siang, Arunachal Pradesh. The depth of the earthquake was 10 km underground,” the National Center for Seismology said.
