A McDonald’s employee in Brooklyn was shot in the face outside the fast food restaurant after arguing with a customer, sources said.
The 23-year-old was working at the fast food restaurant at 1531 Fulton St. in Bed-Stuy when he got into an argument with a female customer at the eatery around 7 p.m., according to law enforcement sources.
The fight broke out outside and the woman’s adult son pulled out a gun and shot the worker in the face, police said.
The victim was taken to Brookdale Hospital in critical condition.
Police arrested a 20-year-old man at the scene. No charges have been filed.
The victim is not the first fast-food worker to be shot and killed at work in the city this year.
In January, 19-year-old Kristal Bayron-Nieves was fatally shot by an armed robber while working the cash register at Burger King in East Harlem. The teen had just started working at the restaurant and handed the robber $100 in cash before shooting her in the torso.
