Prior to his return last night on AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson spoke to Robbie TBEN of Barstool Sports. Danielson described his routine on Wednesday:

“I just ran three kilometers. I’ll get to the building early with William Regal and work with some people, train with some people and things like that. Sometimes we’ll be there by 10 or 11, but if that’s the case, I probably won’t run.”

On the founding of The Blackpool Combat Club:

“It’s all been kind of organic. It wasn’t like we knew we were going to be a group. When I first wrestled with Moxley at the pay-per-view, it wasn’t like, ‘Okay, now we’re going to form a group.’ We just played around and things evolved naturally. Then Wheeler evolved, and naturally added that. Honestly, if it hadn’t been for a few injuries, maybe it could have been someone else in Wheeler’s place, but Wheeler became in that position and stepped up huge on the board He’s been a great addition I mean same with Claudio As if I hadn’t been injured I don’t know if Claudio would have been in the Blackpool Combat Club per se But yeah now , I really like the dynamics.”
