Juventus manager Andrea Pirlo reacted to his side’s 2-1 Serie A win over Napoli on Wednesday night.

Pirlo also singled out Paulo Dybala for his praise after the Argentine scored a goal against Napoli.

Juventus beat Napoli at the Allianz Stadium, thanks to two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Dybala.

“We lost a lot of points along the way because we sometimes missed a point, especially in games that seem easier on paper. You can’t afford to do that in a league where all the teams are so well prepared, ”Pirlo said in his post-match press conference.

“When we play with the spirit that we showed today, this desire to win and to change teams, that’s where we get results.

“We decided to play these tactics – with Danilo as an additional midfielder – to free up more space. We’ve done well, although we haven’t always made the most of the extra man for the counterattack – and when you have those kinds of chances you have to take them.

“As for Dybala, when you have a player like him, you try to play him as much as possible – he raises the bar.

“We have to learn from the mistakes we made because we want to play our last ten matches as best we can and prepare for the Coppa Italia final.”
