Cheryl is pictured arriving at rehearsals for 2:22 A Ghost Story for the first time wearing a The Weeknd cap after it was revealed that her son Bear, 5, is ‘obsessed with the singer’

Cheryl was photographed arriving at rehearsals for her West End debut in 2:22 A Ghost Story ahead of her opening performance at the Criterion Theater on Saturday.

The singer, 39, looked stunning when she arrived, dressed in a white quilted jacket as she ducked out of her car and darted into the theatre.

And no wonder she was smiling, as it’s been reported that Cheryl will cash £750,000 for four months of work on the London play, after taking over the role of Laura Whitmore.

Cheryl wore a The Weeknd cap after her ex Liam Payne revealed that their son Bear, five, is a big fan of the singer.

Earlier, he said, “I mean, he went to rehearse with [Cheryl] the other week before her show she put on and he stole the mic, he went topless, he made the dancers dance around. He’s obsessed with The Weeknd and Ariana Grande.”

She also had a Wolford lingerie bag in hand and a taupe leg as she entered in baggy pants.

It’s been rumored that Cheryl hopes to “reinvent herself” with a major stage role after a three-year hiatus from the limelight.

A source told new! magazine: “Cheryl wants to reinvent herself in 2023. She was on TV the whole time, she was the sweetheart of the nation. But she stepped away for a while to focus on being a mother.

“The deal is £100,000 but will also be linked to ticket sales, so if she helps move around 80% of the seats, she’ll have even more money on top of that.”

Cheryl excitedly shared the news on Instagram, saying that “it’s a totally new experience for me.”
