There is marginal risk severe weather for DeKalb and LaSalle counties in the far west on Monday evening. This is level one in five – the lowest – and the threat is destructive winds from a row of storms, but cannot rule out a brief QLCS tornado embedded in the row.
This marginal risk could be shifted further east by Monday. It is worth watching.
The maximum for Monday is 80.
A much cooler fall air is pouring out behind this front for the start of fall on Wednesday.
