Chris Hemsworth shares rare behind-the-scenes footage of his training to become ‘Fat Thor’ – and his brother Luke makes a VERY cheeky comment

Chris Hemsworth has delighted his fans by sharing rare footage from his time as ‘Fat Thor’ in Thor: Love and Thunder.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the Australian actor flexed his muscles as he wore a thick suit for his role in the Marvel film.

“Some rare never-before-seen footage from my transformation training for Thor,” he wrote in the caption.

“It’s a unique blend of different martial arts disciplines and moves inspired by all the great action heroes of the 80s.”

In the comments, his Westworld star brother Luke Hemsworth, 42, was quick to joke.

“You look a lot more coordinated than you normally do,” Luke wrote under the video.

Known for his incredibly ripped frame, Chris appeared as an overweight version of his superhero character Thor in Avengers: Endgame.

In Thor in Thor: Love and Thunder you’ll see ‘Fat Thor’ working his way back to a slender form.

In scenes for Avengers: Endgame, his Thor character had to wear a 40 kilogram silicone prosthetic grease suit.

Speaking to Stellar of The Daily Telegraph, the 39-year-old joked that he knew what it felt like to be pregnant.

‘It’s kind of like a silicone prosthetic suit with a zipper in the back, and every moment people would come up to me and rub my stomach. I know how my wife [Elsa Pataky] feels now when she was pregnant!’ Chris joked.

I had weights in my wrist and my ankles to help me move differently, but I loved the transformation and freedom to do whatever I wanted with the character,” he added.
