The automaker is now set to unveil its second offering in the country, codenamed CC21. The subcompact SUV is set to make its world debut on September 16, 2021. The automaker recently posted a teaser of the SUV on its social media accounts just ahead of its official debut, revealing the front design. The next SUV has been tested several times in India.

The subcompact SUV is part of the brand’s C-Cubed program, where the company plans to launch four new products in India by 2023. It will build on the highly common Modular Platform (CMP). localized, developed specifically for emerging markets. like India and Brazil. The recent teaser suggests that the subcompact SUV will sport a chrome grille and split headlight setup. Based on the previous spy footage, the SUV will also get a sculpted hood, sleek ORVMs, square wheel arches, underbody cladding, LED taillights, bumper cladding, alloy rims and more.

Under the hood, the next Citroën CC21 SUV is expected to share its powertrains with the C3 sold globally. The gasoline version will come with the 1.2-liter three-cylinder turbocharged unit, and the diesel will get the 1.5-liter four-cylinder turbocharged oil burner. More details on the car are expected to be revealed tomorrow.
