COVID-19: Restaurants, cafes to close at 11 p.m. in Ajman

Ajman: As part of efforts to combat the spread of the Coronavirus, the Ajman Emirate Crisis, Disaster and Emergency Management Team on Tuesday announced the decision to change the working hours of cafes and restaurants in the emirate, to be closed at 11 p.m., starting this evening.

The ruling excludes restaurants that sell snacks, cafeterias and restaurants that offer delivery service. The decision was made against the backdrop of ensuring the safety of society and limiting the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The crisis and disaster team called on restaurant and cafe owners to buy into the decision and take all prevention and precautionary measures, stressing that responsible authorities will deal firmly with violators.
