David Beckham would earn more by appearing in the FIFA21 video game than playing real football.

The 45-year-old star has reportedly won a three-year £ 40million contract to play the role of special icon of the game on PlayStation and Xbox, reports The Mirror.

During his playing career, David earned around £ 100,000 a week at Manchester United and signed a five-year £ 25million contract when he moved in 2007 to LA Galaxy.

And besides celebrating his virtual entry into the game, David and his wife Victoria also reportedly enjoyed I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here !.

It has been claimed the couple are big fans of Beverley Callard, who played Liz McDonald on Coronation Street, and hope she will be crowned the winner.
