Details of the contracts WWE offered to Retribution last year | TBEN

Last year, WWE came up with the idea for the Retribution group in order to create a buzz. The faction is led by Mustafa Ali and includes T-Bar, Mace, Slapjack, and Reckoning.

Fightful Select today reported the details of the new contract offers to Retribution members in the fall of last year. The deals were given to everyone except Ali. The agreements lasted three years and were worth $ 250,000 per year.

It was noted that the money was significantly lower than most inbound transaction offers made over the past two years.

Of course, it’s well documented that WWE has reduced the amount of money and years to wrestlers in their contract offers due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There have been wrestlers who have been called up to NXT’s main roster and said things may change in the future when WWE may have fans at their shows.

It has already been reported that WWE stars have chosen to forgo renewing their contracts because they believe they can have better leverage at a later date.
