New documents show Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) may have broken federal law by lying to migrants about the help they would receive if they boarded a plane to Massachusetts.

However, Popular Information has been provided with a brochure that was distributed to the migrants who eventually agreed to the flights. It was provided to Popular Information by Lawyers for Civil Rights (LCR), a Boston-based legal organization that represents 30 of the migrants.

The brochure says migrants arriving in Massachusetts are eligible for a variety of benefits, including “8 months of cash assistance,” “housing assistance,” “food,” “clothing,” “transport to interviews,” “job training,” ” job placement”, “enrolling children in school”, “help with applying for social security cards” and many other benefits.

If Ron DeSantis lied to the migrants, he was committing a federal crime

Experts say that if DeSantis and others coerced the migrants, they could face criminal and civil liability.

It seems that Ron DeSantis’ cover story about the migrants who voluntarily boarded the planes was a lie. The migrants boarded the plane because they were misled and told they would receive help that is not available to them.

The White House said last week that DeSantis and Abbott used trafficker tactics to get the migrants on board, and the documents show the Biden administration was right. DeSantis lied, and if there is legal evidence that he broke the law by deceiving the migrants, he could join Donald Trump because an investigation is underway.
