Doodles, the non-fungible token (NFT) platform that has been one of the hits of the NFT ecosystem, has announced the launch of its long-awaited drop called Doodles 2.
The Doodles 2 is a series of collectibles that allows holders to customize their Doodle with wearables, including clothing, accessories and gadgets. It is an offshoot of the core Doodles collection, one of the best NFT collections of last year and with 10,000 unique NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain.
Doodles 2 is coming to Flow
According to the project team, the new collection will be launched on the Flow, an eco-friendly Web3 blockchain.
Julian Holguin, CEO of Doodles, said they chose Flow because of its powerful composability, security, zero gas costs and on-chain scalability – a key feature for the new set of collectibles. Basically, having portable and interoperable NFTs is the goal, with the feature enabling access across social platforms, live events, and game worlds.
“As we open up Doodles to the world, we know we can rely on an architecture built to scale from day one. Flow provides an easy introduction to Doodles for newbies to NFTs and web3, from seamless checkout experiences to world-class security, safety and recoverability of their Doodlesadded Holguin.
