Drew McIntyre Believes Twice Winning WWE Title Says His Place at Top Level | TBEN

Drew McIntyre interviewed SportsKeeda to promote Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view event.

In this show, he will face WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a champion vs. champion match, but it will be an untitled contest.

During the interview, McIntyre was asked about winning the WWE title. Of course, his first reign began when he killed “The Beast” Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36 earlier this year.

He had a long reign as champion until he was dethroned by Randy Orton at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event last month. However, Orton only held the title for a few weeks, as he returned the title to McIntyre last Monday night on Raw.

“There were a few people who were lucky enough to win the title once which is cool to win right away but weren’t able to maintain the position of winning a second time and prove that they top the map. So winning for the second time, you know, was really cool to consolidate me at the highest level in WWE.
