Energy crisis: lights go out in Europe as prices rise – TBEN

Greece’s Rio-Antirio Bridge, one of the longest of its kind in the world, has turned off its striking decorative lights as the country makes efforts to conserve energy with winter approaching. Government buildings, including the Greek parliament and the mayor’s office in Athens, have also gone dark, as have highways across parts of Belgium as energy prices rise in Europe.
