Eric Trump again claims ‘mute’ by threatening to sue for Burner charges

Eric Trump is unhappy and because Eric is a Trump, when he is unhappy he sues. Because that’s how you find happiness.

Rolling Stone published the story that rocked the nation yesterday, one claiming that the organizers of the January 6 rally paid cash for cell phones and used those phones in a particularly specific way:

All three sources say Kylie Kremer took one of the phones and used it communicate with key White House and Trump campaign officials, including Eric Trump, the president’s second eldest son, who runs the family’s real estate business; Lara Trump, the wife of Eric and a former senior consultant to the Trump campaign; Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff; and Katrina Pierson, a Trump surrogate and campaign consultant.

Eric has always been known as the Dumb, which is a jaw-dropping achievement and one that shouldn’t be gleefully assumed or handed out without clear evidence of standing out from the crowd. But Eric is doing his best to claim the title by threatening to sue Rolling Stone for libel.

Really stupid idea. The smart move would be to simply issue a statement saying; “I don’t know why anyone would want a ‘burn phone’ to tell me about the rally. I took calls and would have taken calls from any phone. I did nothing wrong.”

Instead, Eric Trump chose to make sure that taking the calls is most definitely meant to mean he did something wrong:

The story does not allege that you bought a “phone burner” and why would you pretend to associate with them denying that you are the “burner type” when you were on the wrong side, stupid ffff … Unless that you, too, used a recorder phone to answer. Is that what you’re stupid enough to tell us, Eric? When was it not even in the story?

The Rolling Stone sources only knew they had to buy cell phones to call these people. Presumably, they would not and could not know how the calls would be answered and which phone could be used.

Eric, what exactly are you defending yourself against if you ever file a lawsuit, which you won’t? Or, were you stupid enough to make your own accusation against yourself?
