TBEN can exclusively reveal that Arsenal, Chelsea and Leeds Utd are fighting to land AFC Wimbledon starlet Quaine Bartley.

The youngster is tipped to make his first-team debut this season despite being only 16 years old.

Bartley – released by Tottenham earlier in his career – has been taken over by the Dons. Naturally, the club thinks they have a “gem” in their hands.

A dominant figure, he can embody the No.9, but the promising teenager is far from a one-dimensional player.

Bartley also has excellent feet and close control, making him an almost unmissable opportunity for those looking to get him on board.

His progress has not gone unnoticed, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Leeds all aimed at getting his signature.

Bartley, however, is not pushing for a move despite interest from the Premier League. He is hopeful he can get into New Plow Lane’s first team this season.

In addition, it is understood that he already trains regularly with the Glyn Hodges team.

Several reports have linked the 28-year-old with a departure from the Spanish capital in recent months; speculation has mainly arisen on a verbal attack on Zinedine Zidane over playing time.

As such, Everton have reportedly shown interest in the past, although Carlo Ancelotti, the boss of Toffees, rejected such a speech.

In one way or another, Madrid were waiting for Arsenal – for whom Isco was a previous target – to rekindle their interest and create a bidding war.
