The Honorable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello joined with Nigerians in mourning the deaths of Air Force personnel who were killed in a plane crash on Sunday in Abuja.
DAILY POST had reported that a military plane, Beechcraft Kingair B350i, en route to Minna in Niger state had crashed near the runway at Abuja airport.
Reacting, the minister in a statement made available to DAILY POST by his chief press secretary, Anthony Ogunleye on Monday, expressed his deep sorrow over the deaths of the officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
Bello also offered his condolences to His Excellency President Muhammadu Buhari, Honorable Minister of Defense, Major General Bashir Magashi, Honorable Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, Chief of Staff Air Force Vice Air Marshal Isiaka Amao and all of the Nigerian Air Force officers and men during the tragedy that befell their officers.
He prayed that such an incident would not happen again.
