Fidel Ramos, the former Philippine president who headed the national police force under Ferdinand Marcos before he defected and joined the “People Power” protests that ousted the dictator in 1986, has died. He was 94.
Ramos died on Sunday, radio station DZRH and state broadcaster PTV said, without naming the source of the information.
