Rumors have been circulating for weeks that an international star will be heading to Australia for the locally produced first season of I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!
And now the identity of this Hollywood star has reportedly been disclosed.
Actress Lindsay Lohan, who recently appeared on Aussie TV as a judge on The Masked Singer last year, will join 11 other celebrities in the jungle, New Idea reports.

It comes after the Mean Girls star, 34, announced that she would return as a judge for the third season of The Masked Singer in 2021.
She had been unable to join the guessing panel for season two this year due to the border closure of Covid-19, and was replaced by Kiwi comedian Urzila Carlson.

Lindsay had confirmed her return to The Masked Singer on The Ben, Rob & Robbo Show earlier this month.
Lindsay wrote to the show’s producer Abbey Mikkelsen on Instagram: “ I will be back in Australia for the third season. ”
Channel 10 boss Beverly McGarvey previously said there was “ wiggle room ” for Lindsay to return to some degree for the 2021 series.

“ We love all of the talent we’ve had this year and we love Lindsay, ” ViacomCBS Australia’s director of content and executive vice president told news.com.au.
“Our feeling at this point is that it seems ambitious enough to think that our borders are going to be opened anytime soon.
“Obviously we would like all of our internationals to come back once we can, but I just don’t know when.

It’s unclear if Urzila will leave the show following Lindsay’s return, or if the jury will increase to five next year.
Lindsay’s return will be a sweet note to The Masked Singer Australia, who have seen their marks drop 37% for season two this year.
