Killer Kross, formerly known as Karrion Kross in WWE, could return to the company. Fightful Select reports that they learned that the former NXT champion has been discussed as an interesting name for WWE to bring back to the company.
Several people in the wrestling world flatly expected him to return. A source said they believe it was already in the company’s plans. Fightful has only confirmed that his name was at least discussed at the end of WWE.
As previously reported, Kross recently posted a screenshot of a fan listening to his old WWE theme music and commented that they wanted Kross to return to the company. Many saw this as his interest in returning.
There were rumors that Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux were booked for an ROH appearance at Supercard of Honor before Tony Khan brought the company. Khan later dismissed that, however, noting that the pair were never booked for the show.

Kross was contacted about playing a match against Wardlow at Dynamite, but passed the offer on. Since his release from WWE last year, he has worked for NJPW and MLW.
While in NXT under the direction of Triple H, Kross was booked as a top star and was quickly over with the fans. However, once called up to the main squad, Vince McMahon recaptured him several times before letting him go.
With Triple H at the head of creative, it seems more likely Kross would harbor the idea of returning to WWE.
