Challenges are just one way to earn XP in Fortnite these days.
You can make a bunch of them every week by also researching XP Coins. And while the individual pieces aren’t worth as much as taking on a challenge, when you add them all up, it’s quite a bit.
Here’s what each coin is worth:
- Green coins: 5,000 XP
- Blue coins: 6500 XP
- Purple Coins: 10,300 XP
- Gold coins: 15,000 XP
There are a total of 4 green coins, 3 blue coins, 2 purple coins and 2 gold coins to be found, so if you get each of them that adds up to a total of 89,100 XP from coins alone. The challenges are typically 25,000 XP each, so it’s like solving three and switching. Gold coins are where they are, of course, as they are worth the most and don’t turn into a dozen smaller coins like the Purples.
The first of this week’s gold coins can be found in the Sentinel Graveyard. You will need to build to reach it:
The second (pictured at the top of this article) is a bit more difficult. This is because it is located inside Doctor Doom’s Vault. This means that you will either have to remove Doom and get the access card and enter the vault that way, or wait for someone else to do so.
The rest of the pieces are scattered across the map up and down, far and wide. You can find each of them on the map below:
Happy hunting there, young Padawans! It’s hard to believe it’s already week 10 and the season will end soon (ish). Crazy.
