George Clooney reveals the most important thing you need to know about ‘mass’ idiots

Screen icon George Clooney said he’s gained a crucial piece of insight into how idiots think — and it’s helped explain a lot about those who go into politics.

In comments noted by digg, Clooney recalled filming the 2000 classic comedy “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” with Joel and Ethan Coen.

“I play this huge idiot, you know, and I play him like a huge idiot,” Clooney told TBEN 1 Radio’s Ali Plumb.

But that was the wrong approach, because that’s not how huge idiots see themselves.

“Joel says, ‘Dude, you’re the smartest man in every room you walk in,'” Clooney said. “And I was like, ‘Ohhh, that’s right.’ “Because, you know, as we’ve learned over the years in politics, stupid people think they’re the smartest people in the world.”
