A year later, after announcing his engagement to Indian-born pharmacist Vini Raman, top Australian scholar Glenn Maxwell took to social media to remember “the bravest lunge a person can do.” Sharing the photo he used to re-announce his engagement, he wrote “1 year since I made the bravest lunge a person can do. I love you @ vini.raman and I can’t wait to get old and lazy with you. ” While Vini herself offered an adorable response, it was Maxwell’s former Indian Premier League (IPL) colleague Jimmy Neesham who stole the show.
“Aren’t you old and lazy yet?” wrote Neesham, who gained a reputation for his spiritual presence on social media.
Jimmy Neesham trolled Glenn Maxwell in his photo with his fiancee Vini Raman.
“Actually, you’re not that bad,” Vini wrote on the post, with a kiss emoji. “@ gmaxi_32 loves you xxx,” she added.
This is not the first time that Neesham, who was teammate with Maxwell at the IPL 2020 at the Punjab Kings, has appeared on Australian social media posts with his fiancee.
Wishing Maxwell his birthday last October, Vini Raman wrote “Happy Birthday @ gmaxi_32 aka my favorite fiance aka my only fiance aka BEST fiance ever. Ps. I love you more than @jimmyneesham.”
Despite a disappointing IPL season in the UAE last year, Maxwell was bought for Rs 14.25 crore by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of this year’s edition at Thursday auction.

After the auction, Maxwell said he was looking forward to joining the team led by Virat Kohli. “I can’t wait to put everything I have to help us win the trophy,” he added in his tweet.
Versatile New Zealander Neesham, who was also released by the Punjab Kings, has been taken over by the five-time champion Mumbai Indians.
