The new God Of War: Ragnarok DualSense PS5 controller is ready for Valhalla.
Featuring a daddy wolf and a wolf pup howling on the trackpad, the blue-gray gamepad is the first game-specific DualSense released by Sony since the PlayStation 5 launched.
It looks really damn good and I really want one. I’ll try to get one so I can review it, but that can be tricky: it’s a limited edition controller and it could sell out quickly.
This has certainly been the case for both the God Of War: Ragnarok Collector’s and Jotnar Editions—$199 and $259 respectively, both of which are already sold out (unless you want to drop hundreds more thanks to eBay scalpers, that is).
Release date and pre-order info
The God Of War: Ragnarok DualSense won’t be released until the game itself comes out on November 9 (just in time for the prize and Christmas shopping season).
However, if you really, really want to get your sweaty paws on one of these beauties, you’ll need to pre-order it. That means you need to set a reminder for Tuesday, September 27. That’s when these are available for pre-order, and you can guarantee that avid fans and greedy scalpers will do all this in case they sell out fast.
So that’s easy enough: the gamepad comes out on Nov 9 but if you want one you better get up early September 27 to pre-order. Say a little prayer to the gods of retail and maybe throw a hex on all the scalpers and other greedy idlers while you’re at it.
God Of War: Ragnarok going to be pretty awesome, it looks like – definitely one Game of the Year contender, although it certainly has some stiff competition in the form of Elden Ring. . . .
