Becky Lynch challenged Bianca Belair to the Raw Women’s Championship at the SummerSlam event.
There was some concern that Lynch may have suffered an injury in the fight when she landed badly on her shoulder. Lynch pushed through and finished the match, with Belair retaining her title. After the match, Bayley’s new faction was formed with the returning Dakota Kai and IYO SKY (Io Shirai)
Lynch was escorted backstage with two of WWE’s medical team while holding her arm.
In Sunday’s daily update on F4Wonline.com, Dave Meltzer noted that there were “no reports of injuries during” SummerSlam on Saturday.

As previously reported, Vince McMahon wanted Lynch to remain a heel after SummerSlam. With Triple H in charge of being creative, however, she’s babyfaced again after shaking hands with Belair and standing up with her against the new faction.
