Man City Match Winner Foden also spoke to the press, saying BT Sport: “It really feels like we’re back to our best. We have gained confidence in the latest results.
“We could have done better today, but overall I’m very proud of the team. This is an excellent result.
“Brighton defended very well and had a good game plan. Getting the goal before half-time was really important. It ended up being the winning goal so I’m thrilled.
“I don’t score too much with my right foot so I liked it.
“I always like to score goals and be there in the box. We just want to continue with this form and push to win the league.
