The fourth and final stage of Rally Andalusia 2021 wrapped up earlier today and the Hero MotoSports Team Rally – the only Indian team to participate this year – completed the rally with three places in the top ten in the standings. The team’s best rider, Joaquim Rodrigues, finished in 4th place, followed by Franco Caimi in 5th place and Sebastian Buhler in 8th place overall. It was the team’s first outing since the 2021 Dakar rally in January and Caimi’s first rally after being signed by the team earlier this month. Meanwhile, Joan Barreda of the Monster Energy Honda team has conquered Rally Andalusia 2021.

The final day was a disappointment for Joaquim Rodrigues, who had a fantastic run through the first three stages, winning podiums in each. However, a few crashes during stage 4 prevented the pilot from reproducing his fantastic performance. Nevertheless, JRod managed to finish the day in seventh place with a time of 02:12:45, which brought his overall standings down to P4.
