Suryakumar Yadav was expected to be chosen for the T20 squad for the Australia tour. He has been one of the most consistent drummers in the Indian Premier League over the past three seasons. He has managed 512, 424 and 480 races in the last three editions of the IPL. He is also the first uncapped player to reach 2,000 IPL races.
So it was only natural that Suryakumar should be disappointed when his name was not announced for the Indian tour in Australia. There was a big uproar over his non-selection but Surya didn’t let the disappointment affect his performance. Suryakumar responded to his omission from the team emphatically by hitting a 43-ball 79 against Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore to propel his team to a 5-wicket victory.

However, there was a moment during the game that intrigued fans. Kohli never passes up an opportunity to get under the skin of the opposition, and a similar incident occurred as Kohli tried to destabilize Suryakumar Yadav.
Yadav recently opened up about the infamous incident, saying everything is going perfectly fine after the game is over.
“It was all very instinctive. Virat Kohli is a huge cricketer figure and he plays the game very aggressively. It was an important game for both teams and whatever happened it made it through the game, ”Surya told The Bharat Express News in an exclusive interview.

“After the game we laughed about it and he congratulated me on my stick. Virat’s brand of cricket is first class and the way he dominates world cricket is nothing short of amazing. I admire him too. In the end, it was great to win the game.
Yadav was instrumental in winning the Mumbai Indians IPL 2020 title. He continued to build up leads for his team as MI claimed his record-breaking fifth IPL title.
