Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced an extension of warranty and free service benefits until July 31, 2021 at all of its dealerships across India. The decision was made to prioritize the safety and well-being of the company’s customers and associates, HMSI said in a statement. The extension will be applicable to all Honda Two-Wheeler India customers whose free vehicle service originally ended between April 1, 2021 and May 31, 2021. Honda also announced support and relief measures to combat the second wave of COVID-19. Honda India Foundation (HIF), the corporate social responsibility arm of all Honda group companies in India, has pledged ₹ 6.5 crore for five states, Haryana, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. This includes setting up a 100 bed facility in Manesar, Haryana, and another facility in Tapukara, Rajasthan with a bed capacity of up to 100. The company is also setting up oxygen production plants. in Manesar, Alwar (Rajasthan), Kolar (Karnataka) and Gautam Buddh Nagar (Uttar Pradesh).
