“Meanwhile, the necessary steps have been taken to protect students and school staff with ongoing security sweeps while the school is temporarily closed.
“Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has ordered security agencies to undertake proactive checks in other vulnerable locations out of caution.
“While we are grateful to God for not harming life or property, we urge citizens and residents to continue to remain vigilant and report suspicious situations to security guards,” the statement concluded.
