Team India skipper Virat Kohli shared photos from a training session on social media a day before the opening day of the third Test against England. Kohli can be seen kicking a soccer ball in the first photo, with the two remaining images showing him batting in the net. “Motera Stadium #TeamIndia,” read the caption of the cricketer’s tweet. The third test of the current four-match test series is scheduled to take place at Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Motera Stadium claims to be the largest cricket stadium in the world.

Kohli scored 145 points in the first two tests, which took place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The 32-year-old has racked up those runs at an average of 36.25 and a strike rate of 47.39.
The Indian team’s skipper missed the last three tests of the recently concluded four-game test series against Australia. Kohli returned home after the conclusion of the first test, having been granted paternity leave by the Cricket Control Board of India (BCCI).
The ongoing four-game test series against England is currently drawn at 1-1. As England emerged victorious in the longest format opener, India rebounded with a triumph by a margin of 317 points in the second test.
The last two tests will take place at the Motera stadium, which has a capacity of over 110,000 seats. The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in Australia now has the second largest seating capacity of 1.00,024.
