India and England will meet in the third test of the current four-game series at Motera Stadium, starting Wednesday, February 24. According to the AccuWeather weather forecast website, the weather is expected to be very hot every five days. While the sun should be hazy for the first three days of the test, the remaining two days could be sunny. The match will be a day and night test, and only the second pink ball test to be held in India. The very first day-night test in India took place at Eden Gardens in 2019, with Bangladesh being the opponent.
Quick pitcher Umesh Yadav has been added to India’s test squad for the remaining two games of the test series. Umesh took a fitness test that took place on February 21 in Motera, which resulted in his inclusion.
Shardul Thakur has been released from the squad to participate in the ongoing edition of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
The four-game test series is currently drawn at 1-1, with both teams winning one game each. England emerged victorious by a margin of 227 points in the opening game of the longest format, to take a 1-0 lead.

The hosts rebounded with a triumph in Game 2, recording a victory by 317 points. Both matches took place at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
