The bowling squad of the Indian national cricket team was not very impressive in the 2022 Asia Cup due to the absence of Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami and Harshal Patel. However, the Sri Lanka captain believes that the Indian bowling unit led by veteran pacemaker Bhuvneshwar Kumar is not at all inexperienced. He said:

“I don’t think so (that they are inexperienced). They are a real bowling attack. They have played a lot of IPL and have a lot of experience.”

Former Indian National Cricket Team skipper Kohli, who has found his mojo after a lengthy meager patch, looked good in the ongoing Asian Cup. He is currently the highest finisher in the 2022 Asian Cup with 154 runs to his name with an average of 77 and a strike rate of 126.22.
