Yuzvendra Chahal is known for posting fun stuff on social media to keep his fans engaged and on Thursday the Leg Spinner posted a video of himself with his massive Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate Kyle Jamieson. In the short video, the duo, with Mohammed Siraj also in the background, can be seen marching to the WWE legend’s theme song The Undertaker. RCB is set to take on the Mumbai Indians at the opening of the 2021 IPL and Chahal, in the caption, wrote that his team is “ready for the fight against the war”, referring to the IPL at WWE’s Largest Pay-Per-View.
“The challengers are ready for wrestling @kylejamieson_,” Chahal wrote in the video on Instagram.
Chahal had an excellent IPL last year picking up 21 wickets in 15 matches.
However, his form plunged and he lost his place in the Indian team’s XI in the recent series against England.
The skater will be looking to get back in shape and he couldn’t have asked for a better place to start the new season – Chennai.
The grounds at Chidambaram Stadium are known to help spinners and Chahal will be eager to put in a remarkable performance.
On the other hand, Jamieson will seek to make his presence felt during his first IPL visit.
The New Zealand all-rounder wowed everyone with his performance against India last year.
Jamieson was bought by RCB for a whopping Rs 15 crore at the player auction which took place in February earlier this year.
