Devdutt Padikkal, who tested positive for coronavirus on March 22, joined the Royal Challengers Bangalore camp in Chennai after testing negative. RCB took to Twitter to share a video post from Devdutt Padikkal in which the uncapped opening batsman reveals he has tested negative for coronavirus twice and is eager to leave for the season at come. “Bold Diaries: Devdutt Padikkal joins RCB camp after testing negative for COVID-19. He is healthy, feeling better and eager to leave. Here is a message to all RCB fans from Devdutt,” RCB tweeted .
“I would like everyone for their wishes and prayers. It really means a lot to me. As you know, I had tested positive two weeks ago for COVID-19 and according to the BCCI and IPL protocol, I had to quarantine at home for two weeks. ”Padikkal said.

“But now I have joined the camp after two negative tests and I feel really good now and I can’t wait to come back and join the RCB camp,” he added.
Earlier today, RCB suffered a heavy blow ahead of their first game of the season as their Australian international Daniel Sams contracted the coronavirus.
Sams is currently in isolation, and RCB medical staff are in constant contact with the polyvalent.
RCB will launch its IPL campaign against reigning champions Mumbai Indians in Chennai on April 9.
